This is where you will learn the entire process from throwing on the wheel, trimming, adding handles/texture through to carving, decorating and glazing.

Private Wheel-Throwing Lesson
Hone your throwing skills with this intensive one hour lesson where the teacher will help you with your concerns.
Whether you want to throw larger, different forms or just improve your technique you will certainly get value from this one on one tuition.
The teaching part of the class will last for 1 hour but you are encouraged to come 15minuites earlier to prepare your clay to get the most out of your lesson.
Clay, glazing and firing is not included in this lesson. Bring the clay you are working with so you get the most from the lesson. You can take your pieces with you to finish and glaze or you can choose to recycle them. If you want your pots finished by myself there will be an additional fee that will vairy according to the size ect.
Bring something sturdy like a timber board or batts to put your pots on.
After the hour lesson you will have half an hour to practice what you have learnt and another 15 minutes to clean up.
Even though this private lesson is 1 hour long please allow up to 2 hours for the lesson, preparing, practicing and cleaning up.
